My List

            We are all getting older there’s no stopping that. There are many things I want to do before I go and many people I wish to meet. Having the ability to fulfill your wishes has to be one of the greatest feelings ever. Knowing that you have ideas and things you really want to get done before you go is something very useful. It is useful because it gives you a sense accomplishment when you get one of your ideas done.

            In addition, having a bucket list can be dreams that someday you can make reality. It also gives you the tools to strive for something in your life. These dreams don’t have to be super incapable of accomplishing like going to Mars, but simple like running a marathon or going to Hawaii. Here’s my bucket list hope this gives you ideas, it might be small but you have to start somewhere:

1) Travel to another country.

2) Go Sky diving.

3) Learn sign language.

4) Meet the president of the United States.

5) Visit my old high school in 20years.

The Job

            Having work since junior year in high school has shown me a lot. How to be responsible and have an income to support myself in one way or another, I was very lucky to get a job with the City of Santa Rosa in the Aquatics department. I enjoy every aspect of my work specially all of the new people that I got to meet. My boss is Australian; his accent is very funny to hear I enjoy having him as a boss and giving me the opportunity to be part of this large network of people. In addition, work and money are hand in hand it takes a lot of dedication and appreciation; I've been working in the aquatics department for roughly under two years.

            Work has its ups and downs, it really takes up a lot of your time for example during high school I would get out of school at 3 pm and not get home till around 9 pm. This was very hard for me and my social life well the little social life that I had. Many of my friends were very understanding that I had a job some a little upset due to not being around a whole lot. Having work is interesting to me the feeling of maturity and not depending on my parents money helping out in the house really gave me a good feeling inside. The job can change your life completely it’s your choice to adapt and make the best of it to not affect the people around you.
